Data controller

Armando, host of DOMUS ALBÆ — Via degli Orti 22, 89861 Tropea (VV), Calabria. For any request about your data, write to arone29@icloud.com.

Data collected automatically

The site measures visits with an in-house analytics system, hosted on our own servers (no third-party service like Google Analytics): pages viewed, sections scrolled, clicks on buttons and links, country of origin (inferred from the network, not the exact IP address), device type and operating system.

This data is aggregated and anonymous: there is no identifier that would let us recognise the same visitor across different visits, or trace back to your name, email or other personal data. The most recent event log (used for the host's private panel) keeps at most the last 120 interactions and refreshes itself; daily statistics are kept for 60 days.

Data you choose to share

If you contact us by phone, email or through the site's virtual assistant, we use what you write to us (name, contact details, request) only to reply — we never add it to any list or use it for other purposes without your explicit consent.

Cookies

The site does not use profiling or advertising-tracking cookies. There is a single technical cookie, set only when the host accesses the private panel (/stats) with their own PIN: it keeps the authenticated session going, is strictly necessary for that function, and requires no consent — a regular visitor to the site never receives it.

Third-party services

To function, the site loads two resources from external servers:

• Google Fonts (typefaces) — the request reaches Google's servers, which may log the IP address of whoever makes it, under their own privacy policy.
• OpenFreeMap (the interactive maps in the "Where you'll be" section) — same principle: the map request passes through their servers.

Neither of the two receives anything else from our site beyond the technical request needed to show you fonts and maps.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you (if you've written to us directly), to correct it or to delete it, by writing to the email address above. Since traffic analysis is anonymous and aggregated, we hold nothing that identifies you to link to a request of this kind.
